…welcome back, August, with favourable wind and water.
first lap had me thinking i could challenge my spot PBs, but a bit of a wind drop and shift put and end to that, bringing back some of lumpy texture of end-of-July and doubled-up swell that resulted in unexpected rides on crests that would threaten to break.
best action was in line with the Zulu buoy with short runways … and large stripers popping out of the water regularly, completely unconcered by the few terns that took interest in me.
sail is starting to come into its own, and the fin matched it very well, both rewarding me with a new 250m spot PB.
