Fun early morning session with Dirk. It was still dark when I got to the beach but found out Dirk had beaten me. 

We were lucky to get some nice gusts and it's such a shame we don't get the usual fall gales anymore as Horst is fast as can be right now. I was a little underpowered on the 47 wide. Dirk beat me which was well deserved. His set looked great and I feel we both made the best out of the conditions presented to us by mother nature.

Damn....please let there be some wind anytime soon so we can fly with lots of fast speedies to see where the true limits of our beach are right now. Dirk rightfully said...where are the times when we easily set high averages over here and this while the gear has evolved that much. Anyhow, we have to deal with what's being given and on a moody day and strange times like this nothing beats racing with nature as supporter.
