Sorry to post late. I didn't have access to a computer.

Lovely day but my hand totally cramped out. I tried to race a tad bigger sail than last time with my hand still heavily injured. I could only barely grasp the boom. Anyhow...Sander is a great benchmark and in conditions like this with the best of the world. No way I would have gotten close, also with a hand that would have functioned in a normal way. Also great to see Luc and Jens by the way!

In conditions like this I lack a 65/66 wide board. A 7.0 is perfect for my size and weight. Going as big as the taller guys gets you a bit faster onto the plane but it's for sure a recipe for lower endspeeds, at least for my style. Would be fun though to get a test in on a board like the Falcon 99. The Falcon 90 2007 is a sweet board but hard to put on top of the waves. Hopefully I can borrow one for a test one of these days.

Apart from the really nasty pain that went through my whole body and mind, the experience to really go for it and squeeze every drop out of the set at hand is very nice. We're full into the designing mode right now and amongst other things I tested the Tribal MK2 30 underneath the Falcon 80. It showed just how neutral this fin really is. Fastest speeds set with the Sym speed 29 which slowly but steadily is coming into it's own realm as seagrass starts to grow. All in all a fun day and I hope within a few weeks my hand is fully healed again. It seems Horst will be getting quick this year as seagrass seems to be getting real thick due to the colder spring and slow growth pattern.
