Great info in on the new Venom. Serge and I had a near similar speed. He was on 6.3, I raced 5.7. The sails have clearly got a more locked in feel, more power and similar release as last year's sails, also in overpowered gusts. The leech holds longer this year as shown by mister Seinen :-). Big respect to him for holding onto the 7.0 up until the hammer gusts which made for a crazy ride in the end. It was great to see him find his old style back after two sessions. We need to get loads more info in on trim options we've got but it's already getting clear variations in masts (both in length as in RDM vs SDM) work. Forward pull is insane and back hand is virtually non existent this year, making all an even more comfortable ride.

I raced the sym speed 25 and the Z SLM 25. Both fins worked great. Can't get the sym speed 25 in my gps-speedsurfing fin collection..will figure out what's wrong next time.
