Great day. Finally Candlestick delivered the way I knew it could. Much more steady than it had been previously last week. Not too gusty. I was able to point wherever I wanted and go up or diwnwind at will. So I adopted a slightly different game plan. Instead of fighting upwind to the one spot I normally go to to get a downwinder, I just sailed along wherever and took advantage of every gust whenever they came by. to my surprise, the flattest watter was between the more developed swells just downwind of the launch and I was able to cruise along over 30kts smoothly. Display read 35.3 at once but that was faulty...second fastest display was more accurate.

The adjustable outhaul was great but I'm not using it on each run...simply setting it for the conditions and maintaining consistency. Sail setting was the same for the downwind and pointing legs. Had to stop as I finally got op'ed and my legs were toast.
