YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

Today was like winning a lottery or a F2 Missile ;)
Conditions looked allright, but I never thought it was this goood.
We were so lucky in many ways, according to Michiel. He has been waiting for this day for more then a year.
Officially it is forbidden to sail here, but if I would have been fined I would have paid it with a big smile : )

It was the first time for me with my RS6 and Tectonics fin, even do not have the right mast for it so used an old GUN-mast. Camber rotation was very bad but according to Christiaan sail looked OK.
But what a differance it was sailing these sails on the Missile. Now I know what they mean with getting al the ducks in a row.

This combination is super, finally I have mastered the Missile and used it at it's full potential.

First run was already 39.5 knots so I was ready to break 40 knots. Angle of wind was super only it was a very difficult to return to the starting point.
It took me after the first run half an hour to get back.
So decided not to make my runs so long anymore in order to get 5 good runs, while conditions were good.
Then next shorter run was 41.4 kn YESSSSS!!! Then some slower runs and then the BIG ONE.

It started the same as all other runs. The other runs I broke off at an opening in the dam, because chop is building here. This run I got a good gust at this point and thought what the heck and went for it.

I have never felt the chop hammering my board like this before the frequency soo high I knew immediatly this MUST be special. When I looked at my GPS is showed 43.5 knots!!!! Incredible and because I had no clue how fast it would be in km/h. I changed the settings of my GPS to Metric........ 80.4 km/h YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!
Unbelievable.

Later the wind died a little so took my F90 and 32 Goldwing and also got this upto 38 knots in increasing chop, due to the high tide. Christiaan had his video positioned and I made the classic mistake to push it a little further then normal resulting in a hard crash.
Luckily no damage only a sore neck.

Season could not have started better, all my PB's are smashed and I am very close to membership of the 40knots club.
