Funny old day.
Big day for my son Joe. ????

Strange day, nice 25k winds gusting to around 40k, but WSW direction so unfortunately we didn't have a proper speed course to work with. I did a few runs on the 53cm wide board. Then I switched to the 44cm wide board and did two runs before having a little upwind crash, my board got carried away by a gust and snapped two battens. The sail looked like a bag shit so I had to cut my session short, very unlucky as I was just warming up. Next time I will be more careful. Short but fun session and nice to be out again with the WK speed crew. Co9ngrats to young Joe on cracking 40k, awesome to see the next gen improving, you'll be schooling us all soon mate.
