Helaas geen 5 runs, in run 5 een harde crash vanwege breken trapeze touwtje.. daarvoor bij het optuigen ook de verlenger gesloopt... Niet mijn dag, geen reserve touwtje en was het zat na al dat wachten.. Next!

Sessie 13: Tweede dag op La Franqui, we starten met 35 om 50 knots( even werd 70 knots gemeten). Even gewacht en toen het water op, Over timing kan ik iets leren (Dirk Jan had een goede tip) en uiteindelijk werd het toch een mooie dag. Weer een erg haakse baan (ondanks model grrr)

Heerlijke 2 e dag, veel rustiger op de baan als gisteren, De wind was bij aankomst te veel en haaks dus maar gewacht tot ca 12.00 uur . Heerlijk gevaren ten op zichte van gisteren, de setting veel beter voor elkaar. (laatste keer speedboard met 5,4 was al weer even terug.) vandaar dat ik gisteren beetje aanloop problemen had. Blij met mijn mooie 500 meter, is de snelste Nederlandse tijd tot nu toe in 2018 ha ha. Was weer een gezellig tripje, Oane, Johan, Edwin en Raymond. enz. La franqui blijft mooi.

Only quick five runs in the morning. Had to go for Le Defi. Too much wind for 5.6.

first top run, after not perfect

In the morning TO much wind, but a sudden drop to lower wind speeds. Gambled on the smalest gear I own... Was nice for first runs, but then the rolling chop came in. So... I don't know I the Speed50 would have been faster. But it was a nice session!

again a good day at La Franqui! 3rd time 80 + average within 1 week, happy with it! PR for 500 mtr, 79,28 km/h ;-)

Another great day at La Franqui, which started off with simply too much wind. So waiting for the wind to drop was the only thing to do. In the afternoon it got a bit better, but at the start I couldn't find the speed nor control so I got a bit frustrated. After a break to clear my head I decided to give it another go and slowly but surely the speeds got better, even though rolling chop started increasing slowly, sketchy! The cherry on top was the 'last' run of 76, after which you obviously decide to try another run. To no avail, so we called it a day. Learned a few things again during this trip and had good fun blasting around in the sun these days! Well worth the trip and always good fun to share the Mediterranean waters with Johan and Dirk-Jan. Next stop: Karpathos in July, with the 4th Musketeer Luca present as well!

Great day. PR op alles geloof ik... heel blij mee al ging het niet vanzelf vandaag.

Another very nice day. In the morning way to much wind, later in the afternoon it went very well. With the small iSonic 44 and 5.7 R8I had an ideal combination. Super - new PBs :-)

nice early session as yesterday, but too strong from 9.30 et 10.30 !
