Great battle on the Estuary in the NW today. Very gusty with some huge gusts rolling through well over 40knts. I was barely able to keep board on water in some gusts. The wind switched from NW to SW and i was lucky to be over on Scott park side and got some awesome runs infront of the shops. My watch showed a peak speed of 39knts, but I guess with it so choppy and gusty was hard to hold for 2 secs. Love sailing in these tough conditions learn so much about how to handle your gear.
