Juhuuu new personal best and best Topspeed 53.28 kn of the Lüderitzspeedchallenge so far I think. Not happy yet with 500m as wind too gusty. Needed a luck gust from start to bottom. But positive about tomorrow. Need a bit more wind and a better accelaration before the startgate.

First day of good winds here in Luderitz

Yeaah...finally WIND...the last week was so hard sitting around...but finally it was happening today!! Joined the 50 knots club (50,01) on 500 m!! Super happy!! Incredible feeling to go almost 53 knots!! Canal was still quite choppy but great control!

Update 26.11.2017: Ok now I can say it! 2 nd best 500 m behind Twan of the 2017 Luderitz Speed Challenge! It's not about the 5x10 here, but just the 500 m, and I did my job. Came here as an underdog and walk away with PB and a great reuslt with 52 years!

I VMAX'ed 50.38!!!!! Wahooooo.... life goal!! haha

Didn't have enough runs for the 5 x 10's... but what a day!!!!

Amazing experience... such a good vibe on the beach... i need to go back and get the 50 over 500m ...NEW life goal haha

Really pleased to break most of my PB's in stronger winds today.  50knot 2 second for the first time!!!

The wind was still only medium strength and this setup would be better with an extra 10knots of wind....hope i get the chance!

The canal is flat and broard so has the potential to be really fast.
