A short session after work, lovely wind very constant

Short afternoon sail with Tim, Dave and Simon. Dead square light winds, struggled to get planning most of the time, but was nice when a gust came along.

I'm super slow in these square conditions, so I need to pay attention to figure out how to improve.

Was nice and warm, was fun.

I had thought about sailing at 4 mile bridge again today,  but decided to go to west Kirby as closer. Arrived at 12 and on the water by 1pm. A little gusty and quite light for the first 20 to 30 minutes before picking up.  Not many out being a week day,  but Mark, Simon, Dave and a couple other of the regulars were out too.  The wind was pretty light by 5pm, Mark was packing up and I changed to the 105.

After a coffee and changing to the jp68 105L I decided to go back out as the sun was breaking through the clouds and it saved being stuck the the rush hour traffic going home.  Well worth it,  had a good hour or so before it gradually dropped off. Eventually came off the water 7.20 tired, hungry and thirsty after 6 hours on the water.
