Sorry for posting this late. I was totally wasted after yesterdays session. It didn't go well in the beginning for me as my leg couldn't cope with the forces of the big board. I tried the speedboard, and the 6.2 to put less pressure on my leg and hoped for the gusts.. In the end I didn't dare to take anymore risks and just went for it on the Monster. At least a decent result but I seriously fucked up my leg. Just after the race it was sort of OK, but in the evening I could hardly sleep from the pain.  This is not a dream start for me, but at least I got an ok result in. Not too bad I guess after so little sailing this year and all injuries I had to overcome.

All in all it was an interesting race with lots of drama. Great to see new names coming up in the ranking with a fantastic result for  Luc Salomons and I'd also like to congratulate Stefan Brouwers. Jacques lost his GPS while being in full pursuit of Peter and Hans. Kudos to Hans for breaking the multiple years dominance of Peter de Wit. This seems to become a truly nice season. Next time I hope I've had the time to have tested my small speed/slalomboard and be ready to batttle it out with the big boys
