Started at 05:37 and finished at around 19:45 - almost 9 hours of sailing in 4 evenly spaced blocks (each one slightly over two hours). It was cold to begin with (7 degrees) but the temperature increased to about 9 degrees during the middle of the day. Towards the end of the day it was back to 7 degrees and I was starting to feel pretty cold as the wind had dropped and I wasn't using a lot of energy. I was very pleased to complete my 8 hours, 8 minutes, 8 seconds challenge and also managed to do 100 miles at the same time.
