Sailed on the Chesapeake Bay, in Maryland, USA, on the Back River from Rocky Pt. Wind was from the WNW, perfect for this site. My top speeds are usually with this same board and the 5.0 Sailworks Retro (2004), that is the second fastest 10 second speed listed.

The water got quite choppy later in the day when the gusts picked up to 35 knots.

Water temp was 8 deg C, quite a bit warmer than the 3 deg C from a few weeks earlier. Air was 13 C, and the sunshine made for some great sailing in my 4/3 steamer.

The 4.2 Hucker is a powerful sail, the other sailors were using 4.7s, I will try to find some flatter waters with this same board/sail combination, the sail had plenty of power but my fairly wide Pro-Tech ATC260 board (56cm) bounced quite a bit in the short, steep chop that is common on the Chesapeake Bay.
