A great long weekend of sailing. Formula racing on Saturday, slalom on Sunday and speed sailing on the Monday.

Port Sorell is a great Tassie venue and everything looked promising while waiting for the tide to go out and the sand bar to become exposed. Once it did it was all go. Nice flat water and good winds. Quite a few people out with GPS units. Anthony Perkins managed the highest speed of the day with a maximum 2 sec run of 37.13 knots.

Only a short speed run, but lots of potential for this place to produce some really good times.
