Great day again. Long time ago we had this wind.
I arrived at 2 o'clock and it was raining a lot. After some time the wind stopped and I rigged the 6.3 with the SX 63. I have only sailed the 7.0 on the SX 63. So I tried the 6.3 on this board which was a success. The stock fin, a Choco Fins 34, is a lot better in full powered conditions. I did 2 64+ runs with this set.
After a while the wind picked up. I switched boards. My SX XS was still in wintersetting. I discovered it while planing away. I tried it for some thime but the fixed straps were too wide for my feet. The first downwind run was the fastest. Too bad I couldn't do it again.
The C3 X1 is excellent when you're speeding, it gives a lot of confidence while doing runs. But going upwind was a crime, especially when I had my left foot at the front. It was not fun at all.
I tried some settings but couldn't find a good one. After enough runs I decided to get the SX 63. The timing was good because after switching the wind dropped a bit.
So I ended the last hour with a big smile on my face...
