Super nice and unexpected training session at strand Horst. I tried a lot of Venoms on my new JP 60 and got a very got impression on the up and downsides for speed. It seems 34 is the way to go. Tested the 46 (thanks Evert) and 38 on a Fanatic 111. It's remarkable just how easy the board runs with the bigger fin. Great for slalom, for speed the smaller one is faster.  Even in the biggest gusts the fin didn't fip over the board, but the ride is a litle flat for ouright speed. With the 38 I was flying in the lighter conditions we had in the beginning of the afternoon. Can't wait to test tem on a bigger JP.

On the JP60 I tested the 38-36-34-32. In the conditions we had the 34 was best for overall speed. With the 32 I had some minor spin-outs. The JP 60 gives a loose but very controllable feel. The USM is nearing and I have some finetuning to do, but I feel I am getting closer in the light wind conditions. Congratulations to Sander and Barry. It was nice to see them fighting it out and running head to head nearly each run.
