Wasn't  going to sail. Could have been on water earlier at 3pm low but hard day work and felt pretty f***d.  Two guys out who came in at 3.45 pm. session done.!!  Had already rigged and waited for them to come in and get the lowdown. Went out anyway, wind had dropped with no expectations ie sub planeing !! Wind patchy but was more from the west and eventually picked up at times. Got a couple of runs before downwinding the harbour. Alot flatter than yesterday even with reef covering . A fun downwind off the reef back to shore.Worth the effort and no bridge traffic  compared to yesterdays  ring route journey to Northcote Point via upper harbour (45min versus 1 .5 hrs at a guess getting from Herne Bay across the harbour bridge. NZTA two lane closure madness!!!!
