Lake George, South Australia.

A little diappointing wind today. We thought we would get another cracker like yesterday, but it didnt come in. Went out on the CA40 and 5.2m in anticipation, but was waaaay underpowered. I did try the 12cm Tribla Delta though just to see where I could run on the other side of the lake. Apparently I had a few people who saw me so far in worried. I must admit I was very careful Gybing out a couple of times. LOL! I think this fin has potential on a really windy day, to get in that falt shallow water, but today wasn't it. It goes upwind fine. No spnout keeping it at 21-22 knots, but it just does not point very high, which s understandable.

So after a few runs I came in and changed to the IS80 slalom board. Couldnt be bothered rigging the 5.7m so just went for a cruise around the lake. I did try a few Alphas up the top in the flat stuff, and was astounded with the one I got, but also ran aground on one gybe. There might be some potential on this board to do some more on a 5.2m day.

Kato and I were on a mission today to have a go on the Tandem speed board, but we realised there just was not enough wind to make it workt.

Another day.

CA40 with 12cm Tribal Delta, then IS80 with Nuclear Delta, 5.2m 2022 KA Race.
