Been three years since I have hit Sandy and now I remember what I have been missing as it really turned it on. Had made a lightning trip with 5 others from Geelong where weed and chop had been breaking our hearts, to the mecca of speed sailing. I was one of the first three to hit the water and posted my best times early, for some unknown reason it took nearly an hour before the rest got their asses into gear and joined us. A great day sailing with Foxy, Daffy, Andy Mc, Al Green's mob, other locals, and our crew. Congratulations to Big Tonster for nailing some 40's and Geoff for finally cracking 30 plus ave. We have worked out the formula; Sandy Point = Point Henry plus 5 knots.
