A very nice day. In the morning there was a lot of rain, so I stayed in bed... :D When I arrived the wind was most south and not that much. The gusts were looking good. The forecast was it would be better so I started with SX S and TR-4 6.3. When hitting the water most other speedies were asking why I didn't rig my 7.0. The 6.3 was ok, sometimes a bit underpowered but a good choice. Especially when the gusts became very strong later the afternoon. The wind has changed to southwest and the 6.3 was sometimes a lot in your hands. After taking a break and getting my SX XS the wind was still very strong. So I rigged the 5.9 which was perfect. Immediately 4 km/h faster (gps max) A lot of runs but when hearing other speeds I was a bit disappointed. John Lebens said my boards nose it too high in the water. So next time I'll try another fin of more downhaul. Thanks for noticing John. After such a beautiful day (sun and lots of wind) I need some rest now.
