kinda weird setup with fog on the San Bruno gap, the Highway 92 gap, and various points between, making for funky shifts, gusts and holes on the inside – and giving the CPYC beer can fleet (unusually upwind of me) a lot of tactical challenges to make their C-Z course.
things were more settled at Midpoints, even as the swell was steeper and more closely spaced than expected for an ebb (lots of N in the wind). spent time trying out a couple fo different settings and the like without much success. but had to go long and deep to wrap up the day, making for some accidental NM times…
