The weather was dire and it was cold with loads of rain, didn't even want to unload my gear of the car.
Simon turned up 5 mins later so we rigged up and got out.
Dire Direction with heavy chop and really gusty patchy wind. There was very little room in which to sail and it was damn difficult to go fast since the chop was very harsh. Nonetheless had a really fun sail and good to get back on the water sailing with Simon (He's just back from the canaries so must have been a bit of a shock... Thanks for the loan of the boom mate.
My Fitness is very good at the moment and I didn't feel tired at all, a lot of surfing and running and a healthy diet has done the trick, I've also lost about 4kgs.
Very pleased with the Little Sonic 85. Starboard produced a gem with that one and although the IS87 might have been a little quicker I reckon the 85 is the better board and more fun to sail.
