A good alpha at Närlunda is not just about sailing fast and make a good gybe. The biggest challange here is the timing with the gusts and finding a gust that is long enough to last a complete alpha. You do not get many chances so when you get that gust you just have to nail it! Today I did not nail anything... :-)

I started with 7.0, but changed to 8.6 in the afternoon. Fastest run on 7.0, but best alpha and some 10sec. with 8.6. I used the same fin (Z-SLM-40) with both 7.0 and 8.6 and it works surprisingly well! Could do with somewhat larger fin with 8.6, but nice to have one fin for all sails!
