I conned Daffy into taking the tandem out in the races... we didn't do too bad either!

The guys gave us a 30sec head start, just so that we didn't take anyone else out... Surprisingly, only a few sailors managed to overtake us before the finish line. With a total sail area of 16.5m, we kept plaining when the rest of the guys couldn't; it also helped having a dagger-fin so that when the wind shifted, the rest of the fleet couldn't make the gybe mark.

While playing around, we figured out how to tack (having previously learning the gybe). And we even managed to change sailing positions while in the middle of a run!

Andrews additional comment:
KA Concept 9m on the rear and 7.5m on the Front. The Gemini Tandem is pretty well balanced with these sails, better than with small sails.

Heaps of fun gybing inside stalled guys at the marks! :-)
