Dissapointing day as optimum conditions did not last long.

At 9:00 am it was only blowing 20kts

At 10:00am it was windier but the tide slopping over the wall gave a horrible swell particularly at the end of the run.

By 11:00am it was blowing around 30kts and the water was starting to flatten off. Just time for half a dozen runs before an almighty squall with torrential hailstones saw the wind veer north westerly - and there it remained all day.

The party was over before it had really begun and as if to taunt all the miserable speedsailors, it ratcheted up to 37kts and blew all day like that.

Never had a chance to settle in but I was lucky as some didn't have a single run.
