An unexpected but very welcome evening session. Very light wind but relative steady. The Amstelmeer often offers just a little extra when the wind is coming from easterly directions.

The board performed remarkably well with the D2-46. The 7.6 felt powered up in the gusts, when the wind increased to a steady 15 knots in long gusts the board very lively and easy to control. The fin is just as long as the one foot off size of the board, so I was a little surprised it didn't feel heavy underfoot.
