The title "best of the rest" was the maximum result possible today. When Jens and I arrived, Fabian had already taken the 5x10 spot record. Well done and well deserved. To go this fast in these conditions is a great performance!

I was a bit overpowed on 6,3 and could not find my stance and settings at first. Later on, after I got used to the conditions, speeds went up and it turned out to be a very nice session together with Jens, Sieger and Dirk in the beginning. It is even my 2nd fastest session ever at Makkum. I would have like to get rid of the last run, but after Jens did a head first in his sail, I also quickly called it a (nice) day. Looking forward to the holidays in a few weeks.
