Decided to try a different combo. Bigger board, the Koncept and a smaller fin. The board turned to be too flighty and the fin appears more of a downwind shape as it was very twitchy and weak. It accelerated nicely off the wind but anything 90deg and closer was like walking on eggshells. Very gusty and unfortunately I had forgot to charge my GPS batteries so only got a few run..none of which I was very comfy on. I did however hit a new max speed with my 120l Protech of 31kts. It was more of a Nantucket sleigh ride. Oh well, it was better than being at work.
