Today conditions at horst became very nice during the day. At first we had marginal conditions with SW'lies, but during the afternoon strong and gusty W'lies were spreading out over the Lake. Between te dams and Harderwijk conditions were very good for speeding. The water remained very flat at times. Because the water was also shallow and covered with decaying weedplants I used my 24 chameleon. At first no really good speeds I could make with 55 max. But after I put the mast 1 cm to the rear the board was much looser.

In the best gust I had I broke my 500 mtr pr from 58.9 to 60.8 and made the year best times on 250 mtr and shorter distances.

My enemy today appeared to be my body. My arms became weak and I even had to let go a speedrun with potential at 63 km/h because of crash risk. I could not hold the boom anymore. I would have liked to make some more good runs but wind was vanishing. Partly I had to walk again.

The iSonic87 is really a nice and easy board. Really plug and play. It feels like the board has loads of potential and hopefully with some more good days I really can break my average. Now it came from 60.4 to 61.0, but there's a lot of room left. I'rm really looking forward to use this board with the 22 chameleon and 5.4 RS6. I think it may be even a faster combination!

Boogie, Walther, Martin, John and Gerwin also where enjoying their day. Martin stopped at the moment the nicest part of the day started. Maybe the gusts where to heavy for him to handle;-)
