A long time ago since I last sailed on Lauwersmeer. The wind was only juuust enough in the beginning and I lent a fin from Dirk-Jan to see if that would help, because I generally suck in these conditions. The fin definately works a lot better under the board than my SL7. No spinouts (unless there was a big chunk of weed collected on it) and I could make the board fly a bit, finally! Now I need to get one myself and work on my technique. Thanks DJ!

Unfortunately I missed the best wind today when I was munching away a hamburger across the street, too bad. Still, a nice session, but I cannot help but feel a bit sad that I'm no longer on Karpathos.
