Had a good training session today. Rigged the smallest stealth and took my speedboard. After analyzing the video footage on the canal I found out my fin was too small. I wanted to know how the board handled with a bigger fin. It settled perfectly and I had some nice practice runs with a far too small sail.

Horst is incredibly shallow at the moment I've never seen the water level as low as this year. Its also getting incredibly flat. The speed was mindblowing given the windstrength. Even in my fastest run it felt like I didn't have anything in my hands. The water stayed flat like a mirror. If it stays like this with 10-15 knots more it might be even better than the canal at the moment. there is wind forecasted for next week. We want to have Horst higher up in the 2004 ranking, so guys try to come over if the wind arrives. Make sure you take an extremely small fin with you if you want to go for it.

Robert Mulder came to me telling me he was doing around 38 knots close to the shore. I was stuck further out and never got over 37 knots. I decided to give it a try. It turned out I did the fastest harakiri runs with around 2 cm water beneath my fin.
