Another great USM. It's a shame we were forced to held the USM during a working day so some couldn't make it. Still our call was good, a bit gusty but with decent gusts. I made a big mistake by deciding to stick to my 5.5 and speedboard. By the time I noticed the anticipated big gusts that were hitting the Northsea wouldn't reach Horst it was too late. It might sound strange but I am happy with todays speeds as I think I got the best out of my set, but I am not happy with my urge to try and beat the unstoppable Peter de Wit who is always rocking at our USM races. Taking risks is OK but only if you're after a record speed, not in a real competition. So for me it has to be next time. Still I had a great time as it's getting clear the overall level is rising more each USM race and many riders were visibly incredibly close together. Lets hope we're lucky two more times before the stand-by period is over. We had 30 new entries who didn't participated in the first USM and we hope some others who couldn't make it today will get antother try to join this fantastic race. Thanks to all for making it a fair and enjoyable racing day.
