As I expected The Brace not to be interesting enough windwise today, I decided to join Martin at Horst. I was a bit late on the water, was told I missed the best winds, but still decided to go small on gear so I could compare to Martin whoe was same sail size but 1 size bigger board. Also I wanted to have a go on the 2018 Tribal Sym Speed 23, which should be the right size for the Falcon Speed. Even though the conditions were far from perfect for the gearsize, it was a good day to test as some of the gusts that came through were enough to get a good feel for the fin and board. The Tribal Sym Speed is a wonderfull fin. It is really fast and can handle a lot of pressure already at low speeds. It produces a very nice lift and I felt in the strongest gusts that it only gets better, so I hope to try it in more wind next time. I tried Martin's S2 Venom 6.3 as well and am impressed by it's performance, even though wind was dying out as soon as we swapped sails. A good day!
