🚀 What’s New: Smarter Event Exports, Interactive Maps & Richer Spot Insights

We’ve rolled out several powerful updates designed to make events easier to manage, spots easier to explore, and statistics more insightful—whether you’re an organizer, admin, or premium user. Here’s what’s new 👇

📤 Export Event Sessions to CSV (New!)

Event organizers can now export event session data directly to a CSV file—perfect for sharing, reporting, or offline analysis.

What you can do now:

  • Generate a downloadable CSV of all sessions for an event

  • Filter sessions by gender

  • Download the file instantly from the event admin screen

Why it matters:
No more manual copy-paste or custom exports—your event session data is now one click away, cleanly formatted and ready to use.

🗺️ Interactive Spot Maps (Premium Feature)

We’ve added beautiful, interactive maps powered by Azure Maps to help you explore spots visually.

Highlights:

  • See your spots displayed on an interactive map

  • Automatic centering on real spot locations (with smart fallbacks)

  • Zoom, cluster, and explore spot details via popups

  • Smooth loading indicators and graceful error handling

Premium bonus:
Premium users get full interactive map views directly in My Spots.

🚩 Report Redundant Spots

Found a duplicate or unnecessary spot? You can now report it directly from the map.

How it works:

  • Click a spot on the map

  • Select “Report as redundant”

  • We automatically log the report with all relevant spot details

This helps keep spot data clean and accurate for everyone 💙

📊 A Smarter “My Spots” Experience

The My Spots page has been completely refreshed to give you deeper insights at a glance.

New features include:

  • Year selector to compare performance over time

  • Side-by-side yearly vs all-time statistics

  • Activity summary cards

  • Dedicated sections for:

    • Equipment usage

    • Top posters

  • Cleaner formatting and improved readability

In short: more clarity, more context, less scrolling.

🛠️ Admin-Only Improvements

Admins get new tools to support moderation and transparency.

New admin capabilities:

  • Dedicated Admin Spots page

  • Ability to log and track spot relationship updates

  • Improved backend logging for spot-related actions
