A nice first impression on the 6.3. Similar characteristics to the 7.0. Perfect rotation and a very locked in feel in combination with breathing body responding to the gusts. The COE sits very low. Furthermore the sail is noticably easier on the hands and that aspect was already covered big time.
Today I used the MK2 which works like a treat for me on the irregular chop in combination with a V bottom hull like the Mistral. A small tip, if you are experiencing control issues when conditions get hairy the sym speed and especially one size longer than you would normally use might be the anser. I hear many are getting a little scared because of the chop coming from multiple direction causing variations in height and distance between the waves. The symspeed is a little less direct and helps to soften the ride. I noted especially the 31 and 33 have got a built in flex character that supports in absorbing the chop.

Volgende keer beter.

Nice session! I wanted to try big board small sail today, it's a nice combo but with this kind of chop the risk of taking off was too high because of a lack of downforce, even with the mastbase all the way to the front. so when Marco came, we decided to go for some long distance runs which was really nice!! should do that more often at strand Horst
