Early session with Tim and Adrian, was good til it squalled and went NNW

Earty session with Tim and Adrian, was good till it squalled and went NNW

First 5 runs on the Isonic 63

Arrived at 7am to find it wsw and around 20 knots.  Gary kindly put the Kettle on and a waited until about 8. Adrian arrived and it was starting to build.  Was tempted to go with the 6.2 but opted for the 5.4 as white horses starting to form. Had a good hour or so with fairly consistent wind before it switched nw. It did swing back wnw after rain passed through,  but was dropping off. Good to see Gary getting some nice speeds, it wasn't an easy day and quite cold after the high Temps last week.

First 5 runs on the Isonic 63

Strange day, I arrived about an hour or so too late, and when I was rigging my small kit, a squall hit and the wind turned NNW. Waited a couple of hours before it turned back to WNW, but the wind was much lighter. Rigged a 7m and the biggest board I had with me, the W58, unfortunately I left the Isonic 90 at home today. After a short while, wind dropped off loads and swung back to NW so only did a few runs.

Strange wind day, stared west south west then went super broad north west, switharoo wind and disapeared. not enough for staboard 53lt so swapped out for 63 lt and still not enough wind with 27cm fin, finally wind came back and was broard north west, one of those odd days wind. 5.6 blade used.

Ps Wind obsevation on here was not correct in dirrection or speed in morning (:
