It was a real stop and go day today. Not as much wind as I hoped for and very inconsitent. The wind beeing much less than my previous session I'm glad to see some pretty good speeds. I've got the setup of my sail pretty okay, finetuning will give some small improvements the next time I hope.

As for a small downer, I rigged my sail and carried it to the waterside. Went back to get my board and change to my wetsuit. Once changed I arrived back at my sail to find a big tear (20+ cm) in one window and a small hole in the window above. I couldn't remember the tear being there when I rigged so the conclusion must be that someone teared the sail with his fin whilst passing.
Luckily I had some tape to quick fix the sail and this didn't affect the sail that much.
After the session I brought my sail to the shop for repairs and they said those tears 9 out of 10 times are from fins or other sharp object. The tear wasn't clean but somewhat frayed.
