Awesome day sailing with a good number of the crew and feeling fitter after my initial 7m session yesterday.

New board and sail going well.  If only I could have found some extra power in the flatter water zone - 6.2m would have been perfect.

Looks like easterly for tomorrow - not that sure how it works so will just have to wait and see.

good session at rutland today, considering the water state i'm pleased with the results, just wish i could have got closer to Riks 30 knots    frown.Great to see the rutland crowd for the first time this year, Rik and Ben also good see Ian and Craig travel down from south yorkshire.

After going for distance yesterday and getting 100km's thought I'd push the envelope and try for 100 NM.  Sun out and and NE wind a bit stronget thatn yesterday so rigged the 6.7.

Covered a lot of the lake with a couple of trips to Whitwell for some hairy downwinders back.. Unofrtunately after 60NM on the dial and on last visit up to Whitwell the GPS ran flat so lost probably 5-10NM or so and therefore had to pit and re-charge.  Went out for another hour or so but was pretty fatigued and therefore knoked it on head once I got to 75NM.

Speed strip was almost firing - wind just needed to be a bit stronger and more easterly.

Loads out from the club so good blasting with the guys.

Brilliant 5 day session at Rutland.  Followed in the wake of Rik and Ben on the speed course and managed PB’s on the Syncro thanks to loan of small fin from Camp Dave.
