After a brief conflab on the A30, Adam and I  made last minute call to try St John's instead of Daymer. Luckily it turned out to be epic - discounting W.Kirby and the Ray, it was my best day ever!

Westerly is the perfect angle for the long course giving lots of broad reaching between 120 and 140. Didn't look mega windy when we got there so started on the 6.7 and came starlight back for the 6.0.  Wasn't going mega quick on the 6.0 mainly due to the chop down the course. The wind seemed to be picking up and even though the 6.0 was no problem, I thought I'd give the little kit a shot. By the time I got back the water had flattened off nicely for 250m runs and I was instantly 3 knots faster. If only you could derig in the time it takes to do 500m!
