Great test day at Horst. Alex, thanks for lending out the boards. I'm superstoked about the speeds I set because I rigged ridiculously small for the given wind just to try and get my stance back. in West Kirby I noticed just how much this helped me to sail eficiently and reduce strain on my arm. Again it worked using the same size as my buddy John. Finally I am starting to feel again how I should position my body in a run. I was faster with the 5.6 than with the 6.3 which was already way underpowered for my weight but I could feel my body relaxing during the runs which helped a lot.

Before I got Internationally known as a fast GPS rider and got in some nice contracts from top manufacturers I was designing my own boards with Ron van den Berg. Today i could test two of my old boards and eventhough the footstrap position is very olkd fashioned and way too much forward on the board, I could feel the thought behind our desingns. We're currently working on hydrodynamic mid wind boards (deep concaves) in combination with our step hull solution. This test proved to me the concept could work real nicely and gave me a lot of info on the needed depth of the concaves and rockerlines we should choose.
