Really nice day. First time with this sail. Absolutely lovely. When arriving I realized that I ha brought the wrong sails, 6.7 & 7.8 instead of 5.8 & 6.7. My friends were flying with 6.2. Was close to returning home and get the 5.8. Decided to try with the 6.7. Worked really well even though it was really windy at the end. At times Speedjanne was flying with a 5.7 and he is some weight classes up from me. The range of the sail is just great, but maybe it would have been faster with a 5.8 for me today. First time with this board with 6.7. Really nice combo. I absolutely love the board. My fastest session with a slalom kit and my fourth fastest overall. PB on alpha racing. Still a lot of room for improvement on the alpha racing. Interestingly, the fastest runs were less downwind than many of the slower. In these I think I found a nice "barrel" in the chop and avoided going over too much chop in a bumpier ride. Will experiment more with this the next time. I had three runs over 35 knots and 34 runs over 30 knots.
