At last warm weather and good (but still a bit gusty) wind. Only smiling faces at the end of the day. Everyone seemed to have a ball.
Boogie sent a softer Z33. It felt good, very forgiving in the nasty chop and it allowed me to really push the board.
I had a chance to test the Falcon 91, the best production board I've sailed so far. It feels very well balanced with lots of grip and great control while accellerating into a gut. It also shows one can build production boards without cut-outs and still have mind boggling end speed.
Wouter allowed me to have a ride on his Hot Speed-Demon sail. To be honest I din't expect much from it since it hasn't got cambers, but also this sail amazed me. Superb control, high speed, not as high as a full on race sail, but still an enjoyable ride with lots of speed potential for people who are not after a hardcore race sail.
A nice day and good to see a lot of familiar faces after a winter that lasted way too long.
