The Bluff..
What a great day.
Got up early and had a look at Fistral but the swell was really small with a light offshore. Stuck the Wavegear on anyway as well as the slalom gear and headed down to the Bluff. The water was way out on the spring tide and the wind really light but reasonably steady. Had the place to myself and just overall a fantastic summer sail in the most beautiful coloured water. Had a decent couple of hours of crusing right upto carbis bay, jybing then heading upwind before broad reaching all the way down towards Gwithian. Best run was close to the shore, straight through two swimming areas with some scared tourists and finally onto a super clean 1ft wave for a couple of turns LOL
My Mum turned up around midday and got out on her 4.5 and waveboard and was sailing well and managed to get a quick hour in before the wind died.
Fantastic spot, if we had double the wind it would have been quick but so what..
