A nice morning session. Started with RS6 5.8 and F1 26cm, but was just having spinouts all the time. Had a first run at 32 knots going more or less sideways. Changed down in sail and up in fin. Larger fin made a great difference in the choppier waters. Maybe the shorter one was better at the "speedstrip", but it is surely also important to get there enough times to have a higher chance of picking the best gusts. Not sure if changing sails was the right choice. Wind dropped a bit, so maybe I should only had changed fin. Was quite some time since I surfed in much wind, and I think I was a bit chocked at first and changed sails too early.

My first GPS session with waist harness. Started with the seat harness, but it was some time ago I used one and I think it was really scary. I have never once during two years catapulted with the waist harness, but with the seat harness it just felt as a matter of minutes before I would do so. I feel completely comitted to waist harness now.

The "speedstrip" inside Shitbay where I surfed today is just too short to get any really good speeds, particularly on 10s and any longer distances. I had 5 runs with over 34 knots on the display, but only four 10s above 30 knots. In the short area at the end of the bay conditions were close to optimal though; around 16-18m/s with monster gusts and only a 10 - 20cm chop. Some new PBs on peak speeds, and finally over the 35 knots (though I am of course aware of the unaccuracy of the data - but it has been a goal to break it for quite some time so I still allow myself to be a bit happy).

It was really a pity I was the only speeder in Fiskebäck today. I am sure Knarrholmen would have been a killer this morning, but I just did not dare to go that far alone.

Thanks to Gurra for stance hints. I think the video and these enabled the PBs.
