A Big thanks to Jonny for Getting me on the Water - I owe you a few pints mate!!!!
Lovely sunny day, When I got there Simon and Jonny were rigged and ready to go. The wind was really light.
By the time I'd finished faffing around trying to work out how to rig the formula the Wind had died to almost nothing, but there were a few small gusts here and there. First 10 mins not even enough to plane but the breeze got a bit more and got going.
This F161 is an awesome board to sail, upwind is excellent and easy to jybe - goes through the chop well too - In more wind I think this setup is capable of 30knots. Felt lovely and warm in the sun - LOL a barmy 7 degrees. I could of sailed all afternoon, but the wind kept dying and Left Jonny to sail on his own kit - When i left he was doing a cruisy downwinder from Mylor.
It's been a good holiday for getting Surfing and Sailing this xmas and we've done a good job making the most of the conditions
