I got down there early and it was howling. Max gust 50.74knots  at 10:30 according to the anemometer on the harbour authoritiesl, and I can believe it. Way too much wind for me, and rain. weather-file dot com/portland  if anyone doesnt know about it.
By 13:00 I was on the water. Not a bad day but a bit gusty. Decided to have a go at the alpha racing and beat my pb by .75 of a knot.
