Great day at Horst. Finally decent wind!

I started out with the 4.7KA Speed. It turned out the CA44 doesn't like such a small sail. The trim was off and I had to derig during the short period in which the wind was perfect. Still I am happy I did as the 5.2 turned out to be a dream. The day before yesterday I tested some trim settings and it paid off as before the wind got less I could get my best two runs in. 

It truly starts to feel I am finding my old mojo back which surprises me as I am 57 by now but I feel more fit and also feel I am getting faster. It's fun to challenge a hero like Twan and I am looking forward to more open water races this year. My fastest run felt perfect and if that's a forecast of speeds to come when windy it's alright with me :-).
