End of Summer Classic at Daymer with sun and the best day of the Year... Pretty much had it to myself and the water was a nice colour that you'd see in the carribean.. A few wave sailors on the bar making the most of it.
Course was pretty square and the wind picked up during the session. 7m X15 Coupled with this board and 32cm fin perfect and could have taken a lot more wind. Wind was pretty steady for Daymer but if it had been a few more knots 40 on the dial would have been no probs. Tried a few things with stance and sail trim today and all felt good.
I was starting down at Rock and sailing North up to the bank and then bearing off out to sea when a gust came through. Pretty much easy to make through the chop after sailing after the gnarly mess of yesterday.
It just doesn't get any better
