Twan is in town so headed to the beach for a bit of slalom after quite a while without. Couldn´t even get close to him, the guy is a machine. It didn´t help that I was a bit underpowered and the conditions were really easy, but no excuses, he was at least 2-3kts quicker, which is quite depressing. I also have the excuse that I haven´t been slalom sailing much recently as I am waiting for the new sails to arrive, but I dont think it would have made any difference anyway. Hopefully the new sails will arrive and be 3kts quicker than the old ones, but that might be asking too much!

The max speed came from one speedish run at the end, but the majority of the reaches were in the 30.5-31.5 range, and they were pretty tight. I definitely got closer with a few tweaks, but I think I need to put on a few kilos and maybe grow a bit taller too!!

Anyway.. work to do.
